I have a window that does not operate automatically on the way down and only raises 40-50mm per pull on the way up. I have tried the reset method over and over. I figured out the reset of date and time pretty quickly (like immediately). Two days later, I learned about the window problem. Found the fix pretty quickly in the window section, not the battery section of the manual.None (none!) of the windows go down (or up) on my 2013 Outback. 1- I checked the Passengers’ windows lock button (even tho we all know it never affected the driver window operation) 2- I checked fuses 2 ,3, 15, 27, 29. My fix was to power the DCM circuit from a circuit that was active when the ignition was ON. Probe around in the underhood fuse box and find one that's ON only when the key is ON. Using a couple add-a-circuit {Amazon Add-A-Circuit} the DCM is only powered when the key is ON. With this said there are other things that can cause battery drain..
